SHIPPING & DELIVERY

What is the difference between processing time and shipping time?

Processing time is the time required for Collections by Nina to prepare your order before it ships.

Shipping time begins after your package has been transferred to the shipping carrier.

Does expedited shipping make my custom order arrive faster?

No. Expedited shipping only affects the carrier’s delivery service after your order ships. It does not shorten production, customization, customer approval, or processing time.

What should I do if tracking says delivered but I cannot find my package?

We recommend:

  1. Checking porches, side doors, mailrooms, parcel lockers, and secure delivery areas.
  2. Checking with household members, neighbors, building management, or your front desk.
  3. Allowing up to 24 hours, as some carriers may update tracking shortly before final delivery.
  4. Contacting the carrier directly using your tracking number.

If the package still cannot be located, contact us and we will help determine the appropriate next steps.

Where can I read the full Shipping Policy?

Please visit our Shipping Policy page for complete information regarding order processing, tracking, delivery, address issues, delayed packages, and related matters.

SIZING & FIT

How do I know which apparel size to order?

Always review the size chart associated with the specific product you are purchasing. Measurements and fit may vary among manufacturers and individual styles.

For the most accurate comparison, measure a similar garment you already own and compare those measurements with the chart provided for the product.

Are all Collections by Nina products sized the same?

No. Collections by Nina offers merchandise from multiple manufacturers as well as custom-produced pieces. A Medium in one style may not measure exactly the same as a Medium in another.

Please use the product-specific size chart whenever one is available.

How should I measure my wrist for a bracelet?

Wrap a flexible measuring tape comfortably around your wrist at the point where you normally wear your bracelet.

Record your actual wrist measurement without adding extra room unless instructed otherwise. We use the measurement you provide together with the bracelet construction and desired fit to determine the appropriate finished size.

Custom Bracelet Sizing: Please carefully review your measurements and any sizing approval sent to you. Once sizing has been approved, custom-sized merchandise is generally final sale.

Please review all details carefully before approving your order.

Can I change a custom order after I approve it?

Changes may not be possible once you have approved the specifications and production has begun.

RETURNS, EXCHANGES & REFUNDS

How long do I have to request a return or exchange?

Eligible merchandise may be returned or exchanged when you contact us within 7 days of delivery, subject to the conditions in our Returns & Exchanges Policy.

What items are final sale?
  • Custom and personalized merchandise;
  • Custom-sized jewelry after customer approval;
  • Earrings and other pierced jewelry for hygiene reasons;
  • Sale, clearance, or discounted merchandise;
  • Items identified as Final Sale at purchase; and
  • Merchandise that has been worn, used, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery.
What if my item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect?

Contact us within 3 days of delivery and include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs.

Video may also be helpful when demonstrating an issue involving a clasp, closure, or other mechanical component.

Can I return a bracelet because the clasp is difficult to open?

Bracelet clasps and closures vary by design. Some may require more pressure, dexterity, or a different opening technique than others.

Difficulty operating a properly functioning clasp does not, by itself, mean that the item is defective.

If you believe the clasp is actually damaged or malfunctioning, contact us within 3 days of delivery so we can review the issue.

PRODUCT CARE

How should I care for my jewelry?

Store jewelry in a clean, dry location and avoid unnecessary exposure to moisture, perfumes, lotions, household chemicals, and cleaning products.

Handcrafted stones, beads, leather, metals, and specialty components may require different care. Follow any product-specific care instructions provided with your piece.

How should I care for embellished or embroidered apparel?

Follow the care label attached to your garment. For embellished, embroidered, beaded, or specialty apparel, gentle washing and reduced heat are generally recommended unless the garment’s care instructions state otherwise.

How should I store handbags and leather accessories?

Store handbags in a cool, dry location away from prolonged direct sunlight. When possible, maintain the bag’s shape while stored and avoid excessive moisture or harsh cleaning products.

Why do you sometimes use elephants or other designs in non-traditional colors?

Because tradition and creativity can coexist beautifully.

Collections by Nina enjoys creating pieces that respect the history and traditions associated with the Delta experience while still allowing our collections to have a distinctive point of view.

That is why you may see elephant-inspired designs presented in olive, denim blue, camouflage, neutrals, black, white, and other unexpected color combinations.

You may also see other cultural references, floral inspiration, Roman-numeral treatments, and widely used design elements interpreted through unexpected colors and styling when their use is consistent with applicable intellectual-property and vendor requirements.

We believe expanding the palette gives our customers more ways to express their personal style while allowing Collections by Nina to create pieces that feel fresh, sophisticated, and distinctive.

Tradition gives us the foundation. Creativity gives us room to make it distinctively Collections by Nina.

What is the difference between a registered trademark and a common-law trademark?

A federally registered trademark is registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office and may use the ® symbol where appropriate.

A common-law trademark may acquire protection through use in commerce even though it is not federally registered.

For this reason, the absence of a term or symbol from a list of federally registered trademarks does not necessarily mean that it is unrestricted or available for commercial use.

What about references such as 1913, MCMXIII, DST, and other commonly used Delta references?

Some words, numbers, phrases, symbols, and references associated with Delta Sigma Theta may be protected through federal registration, common-law trademark rights, copyright, licensing agreements, or other intellectual-property rights.

For example, the Schedule B materials reviewed by Collections by Nina identify both DST and 1913 as common-law marks.

Accordingly, Collections by Nina does not assume that a Delta-related reference is unrestricted simply because it does not appear on a federal trademark-registration list.

References and treatments derived from protected marks — including Roman-numeral treatments such as MCMXIII — are handled in accordance with applicable licensing and vendor guidance.

Our creative freedom comes through elements such as color, fabrication, silhouette, styling, pattern, and overall design while continuing to respect protected intellectual property.

Do you accept chapter, group, or event orders?

Group and special-event orders may be available depending on the product, quantity, customization requested, licensing requirements, and production schedule.

Contact us with your requested quantity, desired product, date needed, and customization requirements so we can determine availability.

Can you customize merchandise with chapter information?

Certain merchandise may allow approved personalization or chapter-related customization.

Availability depends on the product, design, applicable licensing requirements, and production capabilities.

Contact us before ordering if you have a specific chapter or group request.
